Call for papers - Migrations: scientific perspectives and museum mediations

This conference is organised by the Musée de la civilisation in Québec City, in partnership with the Centre de recherche en civilisation canadienne-française and the Centre interuniversitaire d’études québécoises. Stating current researches understanding the correlation between researches and museum practices, and finally studying the way the history of migrations is presented in exhibitions are the main goals of this conference (4-6 November 2010, Quebec City).

Call for participants - Anna Lindh Forum 2010

In the framework of the "Anna Lindh Forum 2010", the Anna Lindh Euro-Mediterranean Foundation for the Dialogue between Cultures (ALF) intends to hold a preparatory meeting on migration. The Meeting “Cities, Migrants and Diversity: Valuing Diversity, Understanding Migration” will be organised in cooperation with the Foundation's Head of National Network in Germany - the Goethe Institut – and will take place in Munich, Germany, from 10 to 13 February 2010. Welcome to the new members

As a result of the meeting of Bremerhaven (30 September - 4 October 2009), several museums and research centers have decided to join the International Network of Migration Institutions.

From the 17 November 2009 to the 18 April 2010, at the the Cité nationale de l’histoire de l’immigration of Paris, the Association Génériques proposes the exhibition Générations, un siècle d’histoire culturelle des Maghrébins en France.
