A new website for the Cité of Paris
The Cité nationale de l'histoire de l'immigration (Paris) has recently launched a new website. Completely redesigned, this new version was designed to facilitate content access for all audiences.
The African, Caribbean and Pacific Observatory on Migration
The new African, Caribbean and Pacific Observatory on Migration website is up. The goal of the Observatory is to establish a network of research institutions and governmental entities dealing with migration in the six regions of the ACP Group of States, namely West Africa, Central Africa, East Africa, Southern Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific.
Online Community on Migration and Integration - Building Inclusive Societies (IBIS)
UN Alliance of Civilizations and the International Organization for Migration have jointly built this interactive community aimed at promoting good practices of integration. The IBIS website is now available in english, french and spanish.



The old Worker's Compound in Newtown (South Africa) has been restored (design by Henry Paine + Barry Gould) and reopened in March 2010 as a museum focusing on the lives of the migrant labourers who flocked to the city of gold.
